Meet kindred book lovers in a local Meetup Book Club!  We read classic fiction, current fiction, and nonfiction paperbacks, rotating through these genres each month in a three-month cycle.  Read a new book every month.  Come to discuss the book, share stories, and make new friends!

Let's all get together every 6-8 weeks for a book club meeting over dinner! Nothing fancy, unless you want to test your culinary skills. We'll take turns picking the book, and hosting dinner at each other's homes. This get-together is for individuals looking for a place to re-center after a busy week, participate in a discussion about an inspirational book, and enjoy some good food. I reside in a rather cozy apartment with minimal furniture, so be prepared to sit on the floor! So this year we are celebrating 60 years with 007. Sure, Skyfall is a great movie, but what about the books? We'll be reading Ian Fleming's books starting with Casino Royale. Sure we'll talk about the movies: George Lazenby et al but it'll be fun to actually read the original intents. The locales of these books run the gamut from Las Vegas to London to Istanbul to Jamaica to Mahe Island. Hopefully we can find bars/restaurants that correspond to the locales and rap.
