This is Austin's only bookclub dedicated to classical literature from all different eras. Have you wanted to read Huckleberry Finn and be able to discuss it with other nerds? Or actually read the books you were assigned in high school English? Maybe you are curious as to who this Kurt Vonnegut guy is? Or a movie is coming out based on a book and you want a head start. The South Austin Book Club for Women was founded one year ago. We are about reading great books that interest us. In the past year the group has read ten books, many of which have expanded our individual interests and tastes. Meeting others who like to read & discuss books, sharing other books, and forming new connections are just a few of the benefits.
